A Coordinator is similar to a Planner except they come in to assist at the end of planning. They usually begin helping you prepare a month before the wedding and function as the point of contact person on the wedding day. They tie up loose ends. Assist with vendor communication & more.

Taryn answered all of my questions and was prompt to reply each time, she attended an in-person details meeting at our venue and we also had another details meeting over the phone closer to wedding day, she made sure she knew exactly how we wanted our day to look down to every specific detail, she was at our rehearsal the night before and made sure everything ran smoothly and kept our rowdy bridal party in line, on the day of- she was ON POINT, she was very attentive to me and made sure that I was doing ok along with checking in on everyone else, every detail and decoration was in its proper place and nothing was missed, she made sure the entire day ran smoothly from set-up all the way to tear-down! During the pre-wedding
timeframe, she was readily
available for any questions or
concerns I had. She checked in
frequently (but not too frequently!)
to make sure everything was falling
into place. She also checked in as
a friend, to make sure I was
remembering to enjoy the process
and enjoy being engaged! I think
this time spent really getting to
know me ahead of time translated
into the perfect wedding day.
Day of the wedding, I could write
a whole novel. I don't know how
someone can manage to be so
present, helpful, and always one
step ahead of the game, while
being so in the background at the
same time, but Taryn did just this.
She knew what my husband and I
wanted or needed that day before
we even knew. She set everything
up that morning better than I could
done have myself. She made sure
everything ran as scheduled and
everyone was on time. During
cocktail hour, she brought drinks
and food for us when appropriate
and made sure our families were
taken care of so we didn't have to
worry.
During the reception, she
managed to have our plates readv
at our seats so we didn't have to get up.
She kept things running
smoothly, working with all of the
vendors and the venue. She
packed everything up so we were
ready at the end of the night, but
again, did so while staying so in
the background you didn't even
know she was there. She also
captured a few pictures and videos
during the reception on her phone
that I will treasure forever.
People ask me to this day, 10
months later, what went wrong or
what I would change about my
wedding day and my answer is
always NOTHING. Nothing went
wrong and if it did, Taryn handled it
behind the scenes and my
husband and I were so blissfully
unaware. To date, she will still
occasionally post snippets from
our wedding day on her social
media with the sweetest captions
and tag us. It is such a small thing,
but truly brightens our day every
time we see it come across and it
just reinforces that we made the
right decision hiring her.
I love her, my family loves her, my
friends all love her. I cannot
recommend her enough!

She helped with a lot of big things - helping people set up for the day / helping with the transition of people and decor from ceremony to reception. As well as smaller things (that felt so huge… it’s all in the details!) like bringing us drinks & snacks throughout the photo period / cocktail hour. She made SURE we each got a bride & groom drink, and kept us hydrated all day long. When our head table went up for food (we did buffet) she told us to sit and relax and she made plates for us.
